Photographs of Sandgate in Kent, England

Unfortunatley, like most people I have been not been able to go abroad for holidays. I have made do with staying in England which has a lot to offer especially when the summer has been as warm as it has been for most of the time.

These photographs were taken during a very hot spell of weather in August in Sandgate Kent. There has been a lot of coverage in the British Press about dangerously overcrowded beaches in England, while the beaches were busy people appeared to be obeying the social distancing rules. In fact, as I walked by the beach I was really impressed by the amazing smells coming from some of the BBQ's on the beach, also the lack of rubbish was impressive even though the bins were overflowing.
