Dammit!! I forgot my camera!

Photographs from Folkestone with a less than perfect camera.

Well, I didn't exactly forget to bring my camera on my trip to Folkestone; I saw the weather forecast and decided it wasn't worth it.

Instead of being stuck in a hotel room for 2 days, we ended up walking 20km along the seafront.

Instead of my usual Nikon Z6 I had to make my phone a Huawei P20 Lite, a budget phone with a mediocre camera.

Ok, so the camera isn't that bad, but it struggles at night. This photo was taken in poor light on a drunken walk back from the Restaurant.

If there is a moral to this flimsy story, don't have a hissy fit like me when the weather forecast looks a bit dodgy.
