Derelict

I often walk past these derelict buildings in woods near Henley on Thames which made a good subject for these monochrome images. I have often wondered what they were many years ago, perhaps an old army camp from the war, whatever they were the buildings are now slowly returning to nature. Having recently done some research on the internet, I discovered that these buildings were probably part of the Bishopswood Camp which was setup during WWII to house evacuated school children from busy cities. Now the majority of site is taken up by playing fields and a primary school.
